Ryanair Adds Winter Sun Destinations

Shannon Airport Authority today welcomed the announcement by Ryanair that they are to further expand their range of services from it's Shannon base this winter by operating to the Canary Islands of Gran Canaria and Lanzarote from the 25th October 2009.

In welcoming the new routes Martin Moroney, Director, Shannon Airport said "We are delighted that Ryanair is enhancing the range of sun services at its Shannon base.  The further expansion of the Ryanair network represents a vote of confidence in Shannon and I believe these services will prove hugely popular with travellers from the region, by providing weekly low cost access to the Canary Islands.
