Ryanair Adds Madrid Service from Shannon

Shannon Airport today welcomed the announcement by Ryanair that they are to begin services from Shannon to Madrid three times per week beginning on 23rd November 06.

In welcoming the new route Martin Moroney, Airport Director said, “We are delighted with this announcement. The further expansion of the Ryanair network represents a strong vote of confidence in Shannon and I believe Madrid will prove a hugely popular business and leisure destination with travellers from the region, by providing regular low cost access to central Spain in addition to providing the West of Ireland tourism sector with an opportunity to increase the number of Spanish visitors to the region.”

This latest announcement brings to twenty-six the number of airports which will be served by Ryanair from Shannon.
