Centralwings Announces New Gdansk Service
Shannon Airport has welcomed the news that Centralwings, Poland’s fastest growing low cost airline will begin a twice-weekly service from Shannon to Gdansk as part of their winter flight schedule for 2006/2007.
Centralwings who began services from Shannon to Warsaw in November 2005 is responding to the continued growth in air travel between the West of Ireland and Poland with the introduction of this new Gdansk service.
Commenting on the announcement Martin Moroney, Airport Director said, “ The demand for air travel between Shannon and Poland is exceptionally strong and I am confident that this new Gdansk service will prove very popular with both the Polish community living in Ireland and the business sector as many companies seek to expand their business in Poland”. He added “ I wish Centralwings every success with their new service and congratulate them on the ongoing success of their Warsaw service”.
